Join our dedicated team in West Molesey, Surrey, as a Learning Support Assistant. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing support to students with diverse educational needs, helping them achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs.
*Work closely with teachers to adapt materials and teaching methods to meet students’ needs.
*Monitor and record students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
*Support students with emotional or behavioral challenges, promoting positive behavior.
*Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to education.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience working with children.
*Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with additional needs.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other educational staff.
*Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student development.
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
