Responsibilities
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for...
*Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
*Monitor bank balances across the group daily, and prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
*Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial plans
*Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial performance, providing insights to management
*Month-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
*Provide financial analysis and recommnedations for decision-making to senior management
Requirements
As a Management Accountant, you will need...
*Proven experience as a Management Accountant, or similar role
*Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and analysis
*Proficiency in financial software, experience with Sage 50 is advantageous
*Professional qualifications, such as AAT, or studying towards is desirable
