Full job descriptionWe are looking for a Gardener who will be responsible for maintaining gardens and outdoor spaces to a high standard, ensuring they are healthy, tidy, and visually appealing throughout the year.
Based just outside of Bicester you will need your own transport, offering £12.71 per hour.
Key Responsibilities of the Gardener:
*Carry out regular weeding to keep beds, borders, and pathways clear and presentable
*Perform pruning and trimming of plants, shrubs, and trees to promote healthy growth
*Undertake planting of flowers, shrubs, and seasonal plants in line with garden plans
*Maintain and manage a vegetable garden, including sowing, cultivating, watering, and harvesting produce
*Ensure all outdoor areas are kept clean and tidy, including sweeping paths and removing garden waste
*Monitor plant health and identify pests or diseases, taking appropriate action where required
*Use and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely
*Carry out seasonal garden tasks as needed
Skills & Experience:
*Practical experience in gardening
*Basic knowledge of plants, crops, and gardening techniques
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
*Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
