Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client is seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join their well-established team based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded regional firm with a strong corporate and commercial offering. The successful candidate will work with a diverse client base ranging from start-ups through to established SMEs, advising on a broad range of transactional and advisory corporate matters.
The role offers high-quality work, strong client exposure, and genuine scope for career development within a supportive and ambitious environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Advising clients on mergers, acquisitions and disposals
• Supporting business reconstructions and restructurings
• Drafting and advising on share schemes, including EMI schemes
• Advising on Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs)
• Drafting shareholders’ agreements and partnership agreements
• Handling company formations and constitutional documentation
• Preparing articles of association and related corporate governance documents
• Drafting board minutes, resolutions and company secretarial documentation
• Advising on facility agreements and corporate security documentation
• Supporting clients with general corporate advisory matters
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting business development, networking and firm-wide marketing initiatives
The Candidate
• Qualified Solicitor with demonstrable experience in corporate law
• Experience advising SMEs and/or start-up businesses desirable
• Strong understanding of corporate transactional and advisory work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build strong client relationships and work effectively under pressure
