Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join our expanding team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor with approximately 5 years’ PQE or above to join a well-established and respected specialist practice.
The successful candidate will manage their own varied caseload of privately funded family law matters and play an active role in maintaining the high standards of client care and professionalism for which the firm is known.
The role would suit someone who is confident working independently while also enjoying being part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing a broad range of privately funded family law matters including:
*Divorce and separation
*Financial remedy matters
*Private children disputes
*Cohabitation disputes
*Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
*Domestic abuse matters
*Conducting client meetings and providing clear, practical and empathetic advice
*Managing cases from instruction through to conclusion
*Drafting legal documents, correspondence and court applications
*Liaising with clients, barristers, courts and third parties
*Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
*Contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the firm
*Ensuring compliance with regulatory and file management requirements
About You
The successful candidate will:
*Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years’ PQE in family law
*Have strong technical family law knowledge and experience managing their own caseload
*Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills
*Be empathetic, approachable and professional
*Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
*Have strong drafting and negotiation skills
*Share the firm’s constructive and non-confrontational approach to family law
Resolution membership or accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.
