We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support young people experiencing complex mental health difficulties to develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities*Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for children and adolescents.
*Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on occupational needs and goals.
*Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in both individual and group settings.
*Support young people with emotional regulation, daily living skills, social participation, education engagement, and community reintegration.
*Contribute to multidisciplinary assessments, care planning, and risk management processes.
*Work collaboratively with families, carers, education providers, and external agencies.
*Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome measures.
*Participate in service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements*Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
*Registration with the appropriate professional regulatory body.
*Experience working with children and young people within CAMHS, mental health, learning disability, neurodevelopmental, or related services.
*Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
*Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
*Commitment to recovery-focused, trauma-informed, and person-centred practice.
