We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a specialist inpatient mental health service. This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting adults with complex mental health needs through recovery-focused and evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities*Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
*Deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at improving functional skills, independence, and wellbeing.
*Facilitate a range of group and individual occupational therapy programmes.
*Support service users in developing daily living, social, leisure, and vocational skills.
*Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, care planning, and risk management processes.
*Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures.
*Participate in service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements*Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
*Registration with the appropriate professional regulatory body.
*Experience working within mental health services, rehabilitation, or inpatient settings.
*Strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.
*Ability to manage a varied caseload and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
*Commitment to recovery-oriented and person-centred practice.
