Full job descriptionOur client is seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join their growing team based in Bournemouth, Dorset.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong presence across Dorset and Hampshire. The successful candidate will manage a varied private client caseload while working within a supportive and collaborative environment that genuinely encourages long-term progression and development.

The Role
The successful candidate will handle a broad range of private client matters and deliver high-quality legal advice to individuals and families.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion
• Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning matters
• Handling estate administration and probate matters
• Advising on trusts and tax planning
• Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Encouraging repeat business and referrals across the firm
• Meeting time recording and billing targets
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
The Candidate
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with approximately 3–5 years PQE in private client work
• Strong experience handling Wills, probate, estate administration, trusts and LPAs
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
• Experience using case management systems advantageous
• STEP or SFE accreditation desirable, or willingness to work towards qualification
• Ambitious, self-motivated and keen to progress within a growing firm
