Full job descriptionAn excellent opportunity for a commercially minded qualified accountant to join a growing multi site business in a newly created role focused on financial planning, analysis and decision support.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in providing financial insight across the business, helping to shape strategic decisions through high quality analysis, forecasting and performance reporting. This is a visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence the direction of the finance function.

Key responsibilities will include:

*Ownership and development of the budgeting and forecasting process
*Preparation of monthly board and management reporting packs
*Financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision making
*Development of KPI reporting and performance dashboards
*Analysis of business performance, trends and key drivers
*Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders across the organisation
*Supporting investment appraisals, business cases and growth initiatives
*Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial visibility
*Providing insight and recommendations to support senior management decision making
*Ad hoc analysis and project work as required
The successful candidate will be:

*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
*Able to demonstrate strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills
*Comfortable presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders
*Commercially aware with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insight
*Advanced Excel user with strong analytical capability
