Shrewsbury | Hybrid Working
Legal 500 Team | £45,000 – £54,000 + Bonus + Free Parking
Are you a newly qualified solicitor, or due to qualify shortly, looking to build your career within a highly regarded Dispute Resolution team?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Legal 500 practice in Shrewsbury, offering high-quality work, hands-on experience, and genuine long-term progression within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will work alongside experienced litigators who are passionate about mentoring and developing junior lawyers, giving you exposure to a broad range of commercial and property disputes from the outset.
The Role
You will gain experience across a varied caseload while developing strong technical and client-facing skills. The role will include:
*Managing your own matters with appropriate supervision, including:
*Contract disputes
*Debt recovery
*Property litigation
*Assisting on more complex and high-value disputes such as:
*Shareholder disputes
*Professional negligence claims
*Commercial litigation matters
*Supporting senior solicitors and partners on strategic cases
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships
*Taking part in networking and business development initiatives
About You
*Newly Qualified Solicitor up to 3 years’ PQE
*Some litigation exposure during training would be advantageous, though not essential
*Enthusiastic and keen to develop a long-term career in dispute resolution
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*A proactive and client-focused approach
*Comfortable taking responsibility and working collaboratively within a team
