If so, Randstad Education wants to hear from you. We are currently recruiting a dedicated, resourceful, and highly mobile Site Supervisor for a permanent vacancy on behalf of a progressive academy trust. This full-time role is available for an immediate start.
*Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week)

*Start Date: ASAP

*Shift Patterns: Variable between early opening and late closing shifts (the academies actively avoid split shifts wherever possible)

*Travel: Mandatory travel between two local academy sites in Bedale and Ripon

Operating from two key locations in Bedale and Ripon, they cater to a wide age range of learners, which includes a vibrant sixth form provision supporting young adults aged 18 and 19. They pride themselves on providing safe, modern, and highly secure learning spaces, supported by a committed facilities team that keeps daily operations running smoothly across both campuses.
Skills Required*The ability and willingness to travel regularly between the Bedale and Ripon sites to oversee facilities.

*Proven experience in building maintenance, groundskeeping, basic repairs, and keyholding duties.

*A solid understanding of school compliance, including fire safety, water hygiene checks, and general risk assessments.

*The capability to manage your own workload effectively when moving between different sites.

Job Responsibilities*Sharing responsibility for the overall security, cleanliness, and maintenance of both the Bedale and Ripon academy buildings and grounds.

*Managing the opening and closing routines of the sites, ensuring the premises are secure for all students, including the older sixth form cohorts.

*Performing routine compliance checks, monitoring health and safety protocols, and keeping accurate logbook records.

*Liaising with site leadership, staff, and external contractors to ensure all maintenance tasks are handled swiftly and safely.

Essential Requirements*A current Enhanced DBS check covering both children and adults is mandatory due to the presence of sixth form students aged 18 and 19.

*A full driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle to facilitate travel between the two sites.

*Full eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
