Full job descriptionQuantity Surveyor - Up to £90,000 | Central London Projects | Onsite
Are you a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor looking to join a business delivering technically interesting projects in a fast-moving sector? This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key commercial role supporting specialist projects within the building and energy management systems space, with strong scope to make an impact across the full project life cycle.
Working as part of an established commercial team, you’ll be involved in a broad mix of pre-contract and post-contract activities, giving you real variety and responsibility. The role includes tender take-offs, cost planning support, subcontractor management, valuations, variations, cost investigations, contractual notices, monthly reporting, and interim/final accounts.
This opportunity would suit someone with strong M&E sector experience who enjoys working closely with projects and taking ownership of the commercial function across live works. You’ll need a Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience, together with working knowledge of JCT, NEC and bespoke contracts. You should also be confident interpreting technical drawings and specifications, producing take-offs / QSOR, and identifying commercial issues early.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into a key commercial role with real responsibility and progression potential.
