At Associate Director level, you will play a central role in shaping the firm’s private client offering, building and maintaining key client relationships, and providing technically excellent advice across income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust-related matters. Key Responsibilities*Leading and developing a portfolio of private client engagements, delivering technically complex tax advice to high net worth individuals, trustees, and entrepreneurs
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and business development within the firm
*Managing, mentoring, and supporting junior members of the private client tax team, contributing to their technical and professional development
*Overseeing the preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns, estate planning advice, and trust tax compliance work
*Contributing to the strategic growth of the private client department, including involvement in pitching for new clients and attending networking events
Requirements*CTA qualified (or equivalent), with significant experience in private client tax at a senior level
*Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*Strong technical knowledge across income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust taxation
*Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships at senior level, with a commercial and client-focused approach
*Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience of supervising and developing junior team members
