Full job descriptionProduction OperativeBarnstaple | £12.71 per hour | Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 3:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 1pm
IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Operative based in Barnstaple. This role involves assembling a range of products across multiple areas to maximise output while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Duties:*Assemble products following established procedures and standard work instructions, meeting productivity and quality standards.
*Set and operate machinery in accordance with established procedures.
*Continually review products to ensure they meet quality standards.
*Read and follow drawings, routings, and ISO procedures to meet time and quality requirements.
*Maintain a clean and tidy working environment to the company’s 5S standard, minimising hazards and protecting tooling and gauges.
*Utilise all personal protective equipment and safety devices to maintain personal and team safety.
*Train other operators as experience increases.
*Undertake other reasonable duties as required for effective business operation.
Requirements:*Numerate, able to follow written instructions, and have reasonable literacy skills.
*Previous experience within a manufacturing organisation preferred but not essential.
