Full job descriptionThis Paraplanner Team Leader job is a rare opportunity for an experienced paraplanner to step into a leadership role where technical expertise and strategic input genuinely matter.


As a Technical Paraplanner Team Leader, you will play a central role in supporting advisers by producing high-quality technical advice and leading a developing paraplanning function. This Paraplanner Team Leader position is suited to someone who enjoys complex planning work but also wants influence, visibility and progression beyond a purely technical remit.


In this Paraplanner Team Leader role, you will oversee a team of less experienced paraplanners, acting as a technical reference point while improving consistency, standards and workflows. You will also be heavily involved in the ongoing maintenance of the firm’s Central Investment Proposition and sit on the investment committee, contributing to investment governance and decision making.


This Paraplanner Team Leader role offers genuine long-term progression, with the chance to shape processes, mentor talent and become a trusted internal voice on technical and investment matters within a growing advice business.


Paraplanner Team Leader Requirements
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is essential
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning is essential
• Previous experience as a senior or technical paraplanner is essential
• Experience leading or mentoring paraplanners is desirable
• Experience contributing to a Central Investment Proposition or investment governance is desirable
