Full job descriptionWe’ve got an outstanding role for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our client’s M&E maintenance team in West London! This is a great role if you’re looking to join a well established building service provider who are well known in investing further in their staff!
This is a shift role following a continental shift pattern, day and night shifts.
For this Mechanical Shift Engineer role, you’ll be tasked with carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial plant equipment, troubleshoot / fault find, update site logbooks, ensure the client is satisfied with the service provided and react to emergencies on site.
Mechanical Shift Engineer Duties:
*PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
*AHUs
*FCUs
*Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals
*Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
*Cooling Towers
*Tap Temperatures
*Chilled Water Systems
*Heat Exchnagers
*Plumbing
*Generators
*Pressurisation units
*Generators
*BMS Operation
*CRAC units
*Motors
Mechanical Shift Engineer Requirements:
*Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2/3 or NVQ (or equivalent)
*Apprentice trained - desirable
*Building Services Maintenance experience - 5 Years Min
*Very Client facing
*Similar experience within a commercial environment
Salary and Package:
*£55,000 per annum
*Continental shift pattern
*20 days annual leave
