Location: Newhaven
Hours: Initially Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm while temporary
Permanent shifts: Early shift 5:00am - 1:00pm or late shift 1:00pm - 9:00pm
Pay: £13.45 per hour AM shift / £14.80 per hour PM shift
Contract: Temp to perm


An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production and Filling Line Operative to join one of our longstanding clients, a busy fragrance manufacturing business, in Newhaven.


This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with experience in production, manufacturing, machine operating, filling line work, compounding, mixing, blending, packing or warehouse operations.

The Requirements:
*Previous experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse or factory work
*Good attention to detail and awareness of quality standards
*Flexible and proactive approach to work
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Positive attitude and willingness to learn
*Forklift experience beneficial but not essential


The Role:
*Carry out formulation and compounding duties
*Operate and monitor production machinery
*Work on the filling line, including cleaning down before new fragrances are filled
*Operate labelling machinery
*Complete end-of-line duties including weighing and strapping boxes
*Support stock control and quality checks
*Identify and report quality issues
*Keep the factory clean, organised and safe
*Clean spillages safely and promptly
*Operate a forklift and vacuum lifter once trained
