People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative / Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Desford.
Immediate starts available. Monday to Friday working, weekly pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position.

Shifts:
• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
• Friday: 07:00 – 15:30
Rates of Pay:
• £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
As an Assembly Operative / Production Operative, your duties will include:
• Working with acrylic and plastic materials to manufacture display items for shops and supermarkets
• Packing finished products ready for despatch
• Syringe gluing, hot melt gluing, heat bending and buffing
• Following production specifications and quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Supporting the wider production team as required
Essential Skills:
To be successful as an Assembly Operative / Production Operative, you will need:
• Good communication skills and the ability to multitask
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Reliable and self-motivated approach to work
• Flexible attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Experience:
• Previous experience working as an Assembly Operative with acrylic or plastic products
• Experience using syringe or needle gluing techniques
• Previous product assembly and heat bending experience
Training Provided:
• Full training provided with ongoing support throughout your assignment
