Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a company based in Ipswich who are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the daily warehouse operations.
Key Duties:
*Supervised warehouse staff, delegated tasks, and monitored performance.
*Managed daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
*Oversaw container palletising, racking, picking, and loading activities.
*Ensured goods were handled, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently.
*Maintained accurate warehouse records and documentation.
*Monitored stock movement and maintained effective warehouse organisation
*Enforced health and safety procedures and ensured compliance at all times.
*Supported HR-related matters including attendance management, training, performance, and disciplinary procedures.
Previous Skills & Experience:
*Strong leadership skills.
*Previous warehouse experience.
*Ability to manage and lead people.
*Forklift experience or license would be advantageous.
*Strong communication skills and problem solving.
*Basic HR knowledge
