Description
*End to end processing of payroll - fortnightly and monthly.
*Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner for all employees.
*Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation and company policies.
*Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
*Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data integrity.
*Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to reconcile payroll accounts.
*Generate payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
*Assist with end-of-year payroll activities, including P60 and P11D preparation.
*Support the rollout of new payroll systems including data migration, testing, and training.
*Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Profile
A successful Interim Payroll Officer should have:
*Previous experience in payroll processing within a professional environment.
*Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
*Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data handling.
*Proficiency with accounting and payroll software.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills.
*Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
