Compliance Manager Poole
Monday – Friday | 8am – 4.30pm
Competitive Salary DOE
An established and highly respected manufacturing and export business in Poole is looking to recruit an experienced Compliance Manager to join their senior team.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining Health & Safety, operational compliance, customer liaison and continuous improvement within a busy industrial environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the business remains compliant, organised, safe and operationally efficient, whilst also supporting customers with quotations and project requirements.
This position would suit somebody from a manufacturing, engineering, logistics, warehousing or FMCG background who enjoys taking ownership and working closely with both operations and customers.
Key Responsibilities:*Managing Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and compliance activities
*Supporting and maintaining ISO 9001 quality procedures and operational standards
*Coordinating servicing and maintenance schedules for equipment, vehicles and forklifts
*Investigating incidents, non-conformities and implementing corrective actions
*Organising general site maintenance and facilities coordination
*Liaising with customers to understand requirements and prepare quotations
*Supporting operational and production activities where required
*Assisting with dangerous goods and shipping compliance documentation
*Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the branch
Candidate Requirements:*Previous management or supervisory experience within manufacturing, engineering, logistics, warehousing or FMCG
*Strong Health & Safety knowledge
*Experience working within ISO 9001 or quality-driven environments
*NEBOSH qualification advantageous
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Comfortable dealing directly with customers and producing quotations
*Hands-on, proactive and operationally minded approach
*Full UK Driving Licence essential
Experience within export packing, shipping regulations or dangerous goods compliance would be highly beneficial.
