Full job description4Recruitment Services are seeking a compassionate and committed Family Support Worker to work for our client based in Worcester.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support children, young people and families to build stability, resilience and brighter futures.
If you are passionate about helping others, confident in working with families facing complex challenges, and able to build trusting relationships, we would love to hear from you.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
*Work directly with families in their homes and communities
*Provide practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs
*Help parents develop skills and confidence
*Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
*Work in partnership with schools, social workers and other professionals
*Keep clear, accurate records and contribute to support plans
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
*Experience working with children, young people or families
*Strong communication and listening skills
*A calm, empathetic and non-judgemental approach
*Ability to manage challenging situations professionally
*Good organisational and time management skills
*A relevant qualification or willingness to work towards one
*Enhanced DBS check
