We’re looking for a Financial Data & Performance Manager to play a pivotal role in driving financial insight, operational performance, and data-led decision-making across the organisation. Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering accurate financial analysis, performance reporting, and strategic business insights that support transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Opportunity
As Financial Data & Performance Manager, you’ll lead a team responsible for delivering financial reporting, performance analysis, and business intelligence across the organisation. You’ll play a key role in improving data quality, streamlining reporting processes, and supporting major transformation and operational improvement programmes.
You’ll work closely with teams across finance, operations, housing, development, and senior leadership to ensure performance data is accurate, insightful, and supports strategic decision-making.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing financial data and performance team
*Delivering accurate and timely financial and operational performance reporting across the organisation
*Developing and maintaining dashboards, KPIs, and performance frameworks to support strategic objectives
*Analysing complex financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes through robust analysis and insight
*Driving improvements in data quality, governance, and reporting accuracy
*Partnering with stakeholders across the business to improve performance visibility and decision-making
*Leading initiatives to streamline reporting processes and improve operational efficiency
*Supporting systems implementation projects, data transformation programmes, and process improvements
*Producing high-quality reports and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders
*Ensuring compliance with internal controls, governance standards, and reporting requirements
*Leading projects focused on business performance, data optimisation, and continuous improvement
What You’ll Bring
*Proven experience leading and developing teams within finance, data, or performance functions
*Strong background in financial analysis, business performance reporting, and data management
*Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
*Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting frameworks
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
*Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal
*High attention to detail and strong financial/numerical capability
*Experience working with financial systems, reporting tools, and data visualisation platforms
*Ability to influence and drive performance improvements across multiple business areas
