You will be working in the Cementation OU based in Watford (Leavesden) in where for over a century, Cementation Skanska has been a trusted leader in piling and ground engineering. Our breadth of expertise spans every aspect of geotechnical engineering - from micro-piling to diaphragm walls - enabling us to deliver innovative solutions for the most complex challenges.
We are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Cementation Fabrication team. This is to be part of and help to manage the on going development of our Fabrication business.
As the Commercial Manager, you will:
*Assist in providing strategic and commercial direction for the Fabrication business.
*Development of the Commercial function in the Fabrication business.
*Be able to solely negotiate contracts, bonds, warranties, guarantees with external parties whilst liaising with all relevant internal stakeholders (with assistance from Skanska Legal, CSL / Skanska Commercial Leads).
*Work proactively as a key member of the in house Skanska team in securing new work on the right terms at the required level of commercial returns to the business.
*Be capable of understanding and managing the contractual requirements of multiple live projects ensuring the contract is administered correctly.
We are looking for:
*A comprehensive level of commercial and contract experience.
*Experience of main contracting also desirable.
*Experience in various forms of contract - but as a minimum NEC and JCT.
*BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent construction related subject.
*Relevant CSCS Card.
