You will be working in the HS2 Main Works, the SCS Joint Venture with Costain and Strabag, our HS2 Main Works South team is delivering one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects - 26 miles of tunnels from London Euston to West Ruislip, along with viaducts, bridges and embankments that will connect communities for generations.
We are currently looking for a MEP Quantity Surveyor who will:
As the MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will:
*Commercial document control
*Cost capture and control (including completion of the CLR)
*Commercial Reporting
*Planning & programme management
*Change Control
*Project metrics reporting
*Assisting with cash management
*Liaison and negotiation with the Customer’s commercial and/or project team
*Establishing and maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
*Assisting the commercial manager in ensuring the necessary internal and external periodic valuations and reports are prepared and issued in line with deadlines
*Assisting the commercial manager with the Implementation of the commercial procedures and reporting to ensure compliance with company and contract requirements
*Ensure appropriate commercial records are maintained in line with the contract requirements and oversee any contractual issues
We are looking for:
*RICS/CICES accredited Degree (or equivalent)
*Full Membership of RICS or CICES (or equivalent)
*Post-graduate commercial experience in the construction industry with demonstrable track record of achievement
*Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen
*Experience of drafting effective contractual correspondence & the facilitation of collaborative solutions
*Good legal, contractual and construction knowledge and experience
