A respected and growing UK advisory and accountancy group is seeking an experienced US Tax Senior to join its expanding team. This role offers meaningful responsibility across a varied portfolio of US-connected clients, combining hands-on compliance with advisory projects and relationship management in a collaborative, supportive environment.
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality US tax services, supporting Managers and Directors on complex matters while helping to develop junior colleagues.

The role
You will take ownership of day-to-day US tax compliance for your portfolio and support on wider advisory work, preparing and reviewing US returns while building trusted client relationships. You’ll collaborate closely with senior team members and contribute to continuous improvement across processes and service quality.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing a portfolio of US-connected clients and acting as a primary contact
*Preparing and reviewing US tax returns across relevant client types
*Providing proactive US tax advice and supporting broader advisory projects
*Building strong, responsive client relationships
*Collaborating with colleagues across the wider tax practice
*Supporting and developing junior team members through feedback and guidance
About you
You’re a proactive, technically strong US tax professional with excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
We’re looking for someone with:
*US Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred (not essential)
*Strong experience in US tax compliance and advisory work
*Exposure to US personal tax, OMBs, partnerships and/or corporate tax (not all required)
*In-depth knowledge of US tax law, regulations and compliance requirements
*Confidence preparing and reviewing US tax returns
*Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively
