As an Estimator based in Rainham (RM13 8HY) or Branston (DE14 3PD), youll be responsible for:
* Utilising the companys bespoke CRM system
* Communicating with customers via telephone and email
* Creating quotations for prospect, new and existing customers daily
* Interpreting information provided by the customer to understand their requirements
* Sourcing prices from various manufacturers and suppliers whilst checking product compatibility and availability to meet strict deadlines
* Advising customers on appropriate products, pricing and lead times
* Liaising with both internal and external colleagues to support the conversion of enquiries into quotations and subsequently orders
* Working to deadlines in order to meet customer expectations
* Staying up to date with current product knowledge and trends
This is a full time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week from either our Rainham or Branston office (hybrid work pattern to be discussed)
And heres what wed like you to have:
* A good all-round knowledge of the plumbing & heating industry is essential
* An appreciation of the demands of working within the merchant industry
* Understanding of the importance of teamwork and how it can improve service levels for customers
* Ability to demonstrate an understanding and passion for excellence in customer service
* IT, Numeracy and Analytical skills required
