Technical Sales Engineer - East/South East - Field Based -RES - Renewables

As aField BasedTechnical Sales Engineeryoull be responsible for:
* Conducting technical site surveys, agreeing system specifications with installers and homeowners, producing on-site quotations, commissioning Air Source Heat Pump systems, completing system handovers, and resolving technical issues through remedial visits.
* Producing accurate room-by-room heat loss calculations, creating technical proposals and system performance estimates. Compiling detailed quotes/proposals for the sales team and ensuring all documentation is uploaded to the CRM system.
* Acting as the Nominated Technical Supervisor for all regional MCS projects, ensuring every subcontracted installation adheres to MCS standards and Building Regulations.
* Providing phone-based and remote technical support, maintaining strong working relationships with assigned installers, and acting as a consistent technical point of contact.
This is a full-time, permanent, field based role working 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm.
And heres what wed like you to have:
* Plumbing & Heating:Level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
* Heat Pumps:LCL/BPEC Heat Pump Design & Installation.
* Compliance:G3 Unvented Hot Water, WRAS, and a comprehensive knowledge of MCS standards.
* Technical Expertise:Proven experience in low-temperature hydraulic design and electrical fault-finding.
* Soft Skills:A "consultative" mindset with the ability to translate technical data into actionable insights for non-technical customers.
* Logistics:Based in/around East London or Ipswich, with a willingness to travel and occasional overnight stays.
