Are you passionate about supporting little learners at the very start of their education journey?
At Teaching Personnel, we’re working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Lancaster and the surrounding areas, and we’re looking for dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistants to join us from September.
This is a brilliant opportunity if you love working in Early Years and want to make a real difference in a child’s development — helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning from day one.
What you’ll be doing:*Supporting children within Nursery and Reception settings
*Assisting the class teacher with engaging, play-based learning activities
*Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
*Supporting children’s social, emotional, and early learning development
*Working 1:1 or in small groups where needed
What we’re looking for:*Experience working with children in an EYFS setting (school, nursery, or similar)
*A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
*A genuine passion for early childhood development
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A relevant childcare qualification is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
