Production Operative (Semi-Skilled)Cardiff
£13.22 per hour + shift premium (Total £17.18 per hour)
Night ShiftMonday to Thursday | 10:30pm – 8:30am
Temp to Perm OpportunityFull training provided.
We are currently recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Production Operative to join a successful manufacturing business in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience who are looking to develop their skills within a supportive and growing organisation.
The RoleAs a Production Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring components are prepared, processed, and inspected in line with company standards and customer requirements. The role involves a variety of production tasks, including preparation work, surface treatment processes, and quality inspection activities.
Key Responsibilities*Carefully handle and move components throughout the production process to prevent damage.
*Complete all production and process documentation accurately.
*Prepare components prior to processing in accordance with work instructions.
*Remove masking materials from production parts.
*Clean components using specified materials and methods.
*Carry out visual inspections to ensure products meet required quality standards.
*Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Skills and Experience Required*Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment is essential.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Ability to manage workload effectively and work to production deadlines.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn new processes.
