Shorterm Group is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist interior company based in Yeovil, working across both business and commercial jet interiors and high-end automotive projects. This is a rare opportunity for a skilled trimmer to work on genuinely prestigious projects combining craftsmanship, precision and creativity in a growing, quality-driven business.

WHAT THE BUSINESS DOES
*Refurbishment - upgrading and transforming aircraft and automotive interiors to the highest standard of style, comfort and functionality
*Production - crafting bespoke seating, soft furnishings and interior components to client specifications
*Design & Engineering - developing innovative solutions to enhance both the performance and aesthetics of aircraft and vehicle interiors

THE ROLE
As an Interior Trimmer you will work across a varied range of projects, applying your skills across all aspects of soft trim and interior finishing. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

*Working with soft trim furnishings including panel finishing, seat upholstery and foam work
*Handling Tedlar, leather and other premium covering materials to a high standard
*Creating patterns, cutting, sewing and fitting interior components from concept through to completion
*Reading and working from technical drawings and specifications
*Collaborating closely with a skilled team whilst also working independently where required
*Maintaining quality standards and attention to detail throughout all stages of production

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

*Aircraft or aerospace interiors
*High-end automotive trimming
*Marine or luxury residential interiors
*Bespoke upholstery or soft furnishings production
