Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils within a mixed primary and secondary SEN setting in the PR5 area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with a range of additional needs, supporting both their educational progress and personal development.
The successful candidates will:
• Support pupils across primary and secondary age ranges with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
• Assist students with communication, social, emotional and behavioural needs
• Work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities
• Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learning plans
• Promote independence, confidence and positive engagement in learning
• Support pupils with personal care where required
• Help create a safe, nurturing and structured learning environment
We are looking for individuals who:
• Have experience working with children or young people with SEND, either in education, care or support settings
• Are patient, resilient and adaptable
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Are passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or transferable experience (desirable but not essential)
