Full job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced Triage Worker to support individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.


Job Title: Triage worker
Location: Brent, London
Contract Role
Day: Monday to Friday [ with flexibility of working from home on someday]


Key Responsibilities:


*Conduct triage and eligibility assessments
*Act as the first point of contact for service users
*Assess needs and identify suitable support pathways
*Gather and verify supporting documents and information
*Manage referrals and maintain accurate case records
*Liaise with local authorities, housing providers, and partner agencies
*Signpost clients to relevant housing, welfare, and support services
*Support safeguarding and tenancy sustainment outcomes


Requirements:

*Experience working with vulnerable individuals
*Strong communication and assessment skills
*Background in housing, homelessness, support work, welfare, or customer service preferred
*Ability to manage a busy caseload and work independently
