Full job descriptionWe are seeking a experienced skilled Assembler to join our client’s team in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and experience using both hand and power tools. As an Assembler, you will play a key role in the production process by accurately assembling components and finished products, ensuring they meet strict quality standards within a manufacturing environment.

BENCH TESTS AVAILABLE TODAY & TOMORROW

Mon-Fri, 7am to 4pm

Key Responsibilities:
*Assemble components and products using hand tools and power tools according to specifications.
*Interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions to ensure correct assembly.
*Perform quality checks on assembled products to maintain company standards.
*Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations.
*Collaborate with team members to enhance assembly processes and improve efficiency.
*Report defects or issues with components promptly to the supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills:
*Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred.
*Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand and power tools.
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
*Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
*Physical stamina and the capability to lift heavy items as needed during assembly tasks.
*Proactive approach to workplace safety and compliance with health and safety guidelines.
