Skilled Landscaper Contractor – Job SpecificationWe are seeking an experienced and reliable Skilled Landscaper Contractor to join our team working on high-end private landscaping projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of landscaping and groundwork tasks to a consistently high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.
The role requires a motivated individual who can manage their own workload independently, take pride in maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and work collaboratively as part of a professional landscaping team.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out all aspects of hard and soft landscaping works to a high standard
*Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project specifications and deadlines
*Undertake paving, block work, brick laying, clay paver installation, sub-base preparation, and associated groundwork
*Operate landscaping and construction machinery, tools, and equipment competently and safely
*Take responsibility for personal workload, time management, and daily productivity on site
*Maintain site cleanliness, organisation, and health & safety standards at all times
*Work effectively alongside other team members to ensure smooth project delivery
*Identify and resolve practical site issues independently where appropriate
*Ensure all tools and equipment used are maintained in good working order
Candidate Requirements*Proven experience in high-quality landscaping and groundwork projects
*Strong practical skills across a broad range of landscape construction tasks
*Good understanding of site health & safety practices
*Physically fit and capable of carrying out demanding manual work
*Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
*Reliable, punctual, and professional in approach
*Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
*Full UK driving license preferred

*CSCS card
*Relevant landscaping or horticultural qualifications
*Plant operation tickets/experience
