About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school setting in Rugby.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access education, build confidence, and develop essential life skills in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs
*Support students with ASD, SEMH, MLD and complex needs
*Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
*Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
*Encourage independence, social skills and personal development
*Help maintain a safe, positive and structured learning environment
What you’ll need to succeed
*Experience working with children or young people with SEN
*Patient, resilient and empathetic approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
*Passion for supporting individuals with additional needs
