Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming Primary School in the Dukinfield area of Tameside.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident HLTA to play a key role within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will work across the primary age range, supporting pupils’ learning, delivering interventions, and providing classroom cover when required.
The Role:
*Supporting teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
*Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
*Leading small group interventions to raise attainment
*Providing targeted support to individual pupils where required
*Working collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure pupils make excellent progress
*Contributing to the positive ethos and wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*A recognised Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent experience
*Previous experience working within a Primary School setting
*Confidence in leading whole-class learning sessions
*Strong behaviour management skills
*Excellent communication and organisational abilities
*A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning
