Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the Romiley area of Stockport.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to support pupils within Key Stage 1 and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support learning, deliver interventions, and help pupils achieve their full potential.
The Role:
*Supporting teaching and learning within a KS1 classroom
*Working with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning objectives
*Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation
*Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
*Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
*Working collaboratively with teaching staff and parents where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
*Previous classroom experience within a Primary School setting
*Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 1
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
*A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
