Part-Time | Mornings Only (08:30am - 12:00pm) | Summer Term | Potential Extension into September
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Stockport for the remainder of the Summer Term.
This rewarding role will involve providing dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the Early Years Foundation Stage. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping children access learning, develop socially and emotionally, and thrive within the classroom environment.
The Role:
*Part-time position, working mornings only (08:30am - 12:00pm)
*Supporting children within an EYFS setting
*Providing 1:1 SEND support tailored to individual needs
*Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies
*Creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
*Position available for the Summer Term with the possibility of extension into September
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
*Proven experience providing 1:1 support for children with SEND
*A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and learning
