Full job descriptionHR Assistant. Hybrid role (3-4 days per week in the office, in Bedford). I’m working with a well-established, but rapidly growing, people-focused organisation (Technical services / £ multi-million t/o) to recruit a proactive and highly organised HR Assistant to join HR team.

HR Assistant - The Role:
As HR Assistant, you’ll provide essential administrative support to the HR function and wider business. You’ll play a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly—from recruitment and onboarding through to employee changes and leavers.
You’ll also act as a first point of contact for HR queries, helping deliver a responsive and professional HR service across the organisation.


HR Assistant – Key Responsibilities:
Working in a highly stakeholder-facing role, the position covers:
*New starter administration
*Onboarding and inductions
*Recruitment administration
*HR system / Ticketing / and HR inbox management & maintenance
*Employee changes / Leavers administration
*Employee lifecycle administration (absence, payroll updates, probation, ER support)
*HR policies / projects and documentation support
*Background screening and vetting


About You:
I’m looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and enjoys working in a busy HR environment. You’ll likely have:
*2yrs+ as an HR Assistant
*Be incredibly people-centric : )
*Ideally CIPD Foundation level
*Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
*Good time management and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
*A professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive information
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*A proactive, positive attitude with a "can-do" mindset
*Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office

*Full driving licence preferred
