We are working with a law firm who are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its growing Croydon office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated conveyancer with 1–3 years’ experience who is looking to take ownership of a role and contribute to the continued growth and success of an established firm.
The successful candidate will manage their own residential conveyancing caseload and play an active role in developing the firm’s presence within the local market. Initially operating as a stand-alone fee earner, the successful individual will have the opportunity to help shape and expand the department as the office continues to grow.
Responsibilities
*Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
*Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
*Managing remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions.
*Providing clients with clear, practical, and commercially focused advice throughout the conveyancing process.
*Taking responsibility for a caseload generating approximately 10–20 new instructions per month.
*Maintaining excellent levels of client care and communication.
*Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and firm procedures.
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents, brokers, and other referrers.
*Supporting the ongoing growth and development of the Croydon office.
*Participating in networking, marketing, and business development activities to generate new work opportunities.
Candidate
*Experience managing a residential property caseload with a high degree of autonomy.
*Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of residential conveyancing transactions.
*Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
*Strong organisational abilities and effective time management.
*A proactive and commercially minded approach.
*Confidence working independently and taking ownership of matters.
*A willingness to engage in networking and business development initiatives.
*Ambition to contribute to the long-term growth and success of the Croydon office.
