£14 / Hour ( Term time only )

Location- Sheffield South Yorkshire




We’re looking for a friendly and reliable learning support assistant to join a welcoming college team in South Yorkshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with additional learning needs, helping them build confidence, independence and essential life skills in a college environment.

Key Responsibilities:

*Providing classroom and 1:1 support to students with additional needs
*Encouraging independence, confidence and participation
*Supporting students academically, socially and emotionally
*Helping create a safe, inclusive and engaging work environment
*Working closely with tutors and wider support staff

Requirements

*Education: GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
*Experience: Previous experience working with young people or vulnerable adults is highly desirable.
*Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and the ability to adapt to changing classroom environments.
*Compliance: Must hold or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
