Full job descriptionSEN Teaching Assistant - CirencesterWe are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Cirencester.This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
*Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans
*Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
*Encourage independence and confidence within the classroom
*Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
*Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or transferable experience)
*A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
*Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, Level 2/3 TA) are desirable but not essential
