Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable A Level Criminology Teacher to join our team from September.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to post-16 learners, helping students achieve their full potential in Criminology.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching Criminology at Level 3/A Level (or a related subject).
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for student achievement.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
*Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Criminology lessons across Key Stage 5
*Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
*Support students of varying abilities to achieve strong outcomes.
*Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
*Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification.
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Criminology.
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*The ability to motivate and inspire students.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
