Full job descriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and customer focused Administration Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth delivery of orders, quotations, and projects. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to provide exceptional service while supporting the continued growth of the business.

This is a temporary to permanent role, which will be 12 weeks temporary prior to transferring to permanent employment.
About the Role
As an Administration Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting customers throughout the enquiry, quotation, ordering, and delivery process. You will ensure that projects are accurately managed, customer communications are handled professionally, and operational processes run efficiently.
The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
*Process all orders through Dynamics 365, ensuring customers are kept informed of order status and delivery schedules.
*Liaise to coordinate and communicate any special delivery requirements.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including project notes, quotations, and supporting documentation.
*Manage quotation enquiries and issue quotations alongside relevant technical documentation.
*Prepare quotations for new enquiries and work closely with the Product Manager to support stock forecasting and availability planning.
*Monitor customer credit account applications and proactively resolve credit blocks that may delay order processing.
*Identify operational challenges and process improvement opportunities, escalating where appropriate.
*Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.

*Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
*Customer-focused with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
