Two Six Recruitment are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a Global Education Provider for a Senior Building Manager to join their growing London team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Facilities & Operations professional looking to take on a senior leadership role within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
About the Role
As part of an exciting new operating model, our client is establishing Centres of Excellence to support campuses globally and deliver operational excellence across their institutions.
The Senior Building Manager will oversee a portfolio of buildings, manage a team of Building Managers across a geographic area, and take full accountability for delivering safe, compliant, financially controlled, and high-quality facilities management services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead FM operations across a multi-site portfolio
• Manage and support a team of Building Managers
• Oversee PPM programmes and lifecycle planning
• Manage hard and soft FM services including cleaning, security, catering, waste and M&E
• Monitor contractor performance and refurbishment projects
• Forecast and control budgets across maintenance and enhancement works
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across institutions
• Produce reports on compliance, maintenance, capital projects and KPIs
• Support governance, risk and reporting processes
• Manage remote teams effectively and provide operational cover where required
Essential Requirements:
Qualification in Building Management, Facilities Management or related field
NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
Significant experience in facilities and building operations management
Proven experience leading multi-site teams
Strong statutory compliance and PPM management knowledge
Financial management and budget control experience
Experience managing contractors and third-party partnerships
Strong understanding of Hard & Soft FM contracts and Health & Safety regulations
Desirable:
• IWFM, CIBSE, RICS or similar professional membership
• Experience within Higher Education
• CAFM systems experience
