Job Description:
Full job descriptionWhat’s in it for you?*A leadership role with responsibility for driving performance across logistics operations
*Opportunity to develop and coach team leaders within a structured warehouse environment
*A position where you can influence continuous improvement and operational efficiency
*A collaborative environment working across multiple departments
Must haves*Proven experience leading and developing teams
*Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including goods in, picking, dispatch, and stock control
*Knowledge of health and safety practices and compliance within a logistics environment
*Ability to manage performance and drive KPIs
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Confident problem-solving and decision-making abilities
*Commercial awareness with a focus on operational efficiency
*Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
Nice to haves*Experience with ERP or MRP systems
*Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S
*Experience supporting or delivering operational improvement projects
*Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH
So, what will you be doing?*Leading and coordinating day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations
*Providing clear direction, guidance, and support to team leaders and staff
*Monitoring team performance and resolving operational issues
*Coaching and developing team leaders to build capability and drive results
*Ensuring high standards of health, safety, and compliance are maintained
*Managing resource allocation to meet operational demands
*Maintaining and improving processes in line with quality standards and procedures
*Interpreting performance data to drive continuous improvement
*Supporting reporting, administration, and team briefings
*Building strong working relationships across internal departments
