We are currently looking for a caring individual to join our dedicated staff team as a Support Worker in Accrington, Lancashire. Our service has great public transport links, with Accrington train station only a 3-minute walk away.
Our service provides quality, personalised care and support to individuals with mental health needs in their own homes, in the community, or in a supported living scheme.
No two days will be the same in this role. You will be involved in supporting people to enjoy a fulfilling life by engaging in activities such as meals out, swimming, cooking and baking, exercising, arts and crafts and gardening.
Role Responsibilities:
*Enable the people we support to become as independent as possible and promote confidence and competence in areas such as social skills/relationships, daily living skills, social, leisure, finances and work activities.
*Medication administration
*Promote self-esteem, happiness and emotional wellbeing of service users.
