*Prepare and review tax returns to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
*Manage tax records and maintain accurate documentation for audits and reporting.
*Provide advice on tax-related issues to support organisational decision-making.
*Ensure timely submission of all tax filings and payments.
*Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
*Collaborate with internal teams to enhance tax efficiency and processes.
*Support the preparation of financial statements with accurate tax provisions.
*Act as the primary point of contact for external tax advisors and authorities.
Profile
A successful Tax Accountant should have:
*A recognised qualification in accounting or tax, such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, or QBE
*Experience in tax compliance and reporting within a professional setting.
*Knowledge of tax regulations.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency in accounting ERP software and tax-related tools.
*Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
*Willingness to learn and problem solve.
