Nigel Wright are pleased to be working in collaboration with a well-established not-for-profit organisation who are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager on a Fixed Term (12 months) to assist them as they undertake an exciting period of change. This client is renowned locally for being a supportive employer who puts value into team development and collaboration. This would be an ideal role for an experienced Finance Manager who has successfully operated during periods of change and is keen to test their skills in a new setting.
The Role
*Prepare monthly management accounts including providing accurate reports and analysis
*Lead on all banking transactions, undertake regular review and reconciliation of banking transactions
*Work closely with the Senior Leadership on budget setting and business continuity planning
*Assist on key projects including the implementation of a new accounting software
*Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and related accounting entries.
*Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
The Person
*You must be qualified or possess significant experience within a similar role
*Demonstrable experience of working on projects or new systems
*Strong experience in preparing management accounts and reporting
*Possess a ’self-starter’ attitude
*Be available at short notice
